MY JOURNEY

MY JOURNAL
WHERE MY STORY BEGAN
My journey into holistic wellness began with my own health crisis.
In 2012, I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s syndrome, a progressive autoimmune disease. I spent time in and out of the hospital and was prescribed different medications in an effort to manage my symptoms. When one medication didn’t work for me, another was tried. Unfortunately, the medications did not work for me, and I was left feeling as though my only option was to continue managing symptoms while accepting that my condition could progressively get worse.
I wasn’t willing to stop there.
I felt like I had nothing to lose by asking more questions and exploring other approaches to supporting my health. I began working with holistic practitioners and exploring nutrition, herbs, lifestyle changes, and alternative therapies. I changed the way I ate, the way I cared for my body, and most importantly, the way I listened to my body.
I began to think of the body much like a house. Sometimes a house gives you little signs, a creak in the floor, a small crack, a sound that wasn’t there before. They may seem insignificant, so we ignore them. But sometimes those small changes are telling us that something needs attention.
I began looking at my body the same way.
Instead of waiting for something to become a major problem, I wanted to understand the smaller signals my body was giving me and become more intentional about how I responded to them. That shift changed my relationship with wellness.
What began as a personal search for answers eventually became a passion for learning. I pursued training and certifications, deepened my knowledge of herbal wellness, nutrition, and whole-person health, and began using what I learned to support others on their own wellness journeys.
More than a decade later, that journey continues, and it has become the foundation for Inspiring Another Miracle.
WHY I CREATED I.A.M
WHY I CREATED IAM
Inspiring Another Miracle was born from something I experienced firsthand: you cannot make informed decisions about information you've never been given.
As I learned more about my own health, I became increasingly aware of how much information about nutrition, herbs, whole-body wellness, and our everyday choices simply wasn't reaching many of the people around me. I saw that gap in my family and in my community. Eventually, learning on my own wasn't enough. I wanted to share what I was learning.
IAM became the place where those parts of my journey could come together: education, herbal wisdom, whole-food nutrition, women's wellness, and practical resources people can use in everyday life.
My goal is to help people better understand their bodies, ask questions, explore their options, and become more conscious participants in their own health and wellness.
That's what Inspiring Another Miracle means to me.

THE NEXT CHAPTER
FROM EXPERIENCE TO EDUCATION
My personal health journey became the beginning of a much deeper education. What started as a search for answers for myself grew into years of studying herbalism, nutrition, women's wellness, and whole-person approaches to health.
In 2013, I became a Womb Health Practitioner and began supporting women navigating fertility, fibroids, menopause, and other aspects of reproductive wellness. Over the years, I continued expanding my knowledge through herbal education, courses, certifications, mentorship, independent study, and hands-on experience working with individuals seeking a more intentional approach to their health.
My work has never been about simply learning a list of herbs or supplements. I wanted to understand the body, why imbalances occur, how nutrition and lifestyle affect our well-being, and how traditional herbal practices can be thoughtfully incorporated into everyday life.
That education has continued for more than a decade. I remain a student of wellness because I believe there is always more to learn, and because the people who trust me with their wellness deserve that commitment.
Today, I bring together education, herbal traditions, lived experience, and years of working with people to help individuals better understand their bodies, ask better questions, explore their options, and make more informed decisions about their well-being.
I didn't just want to find answers for myself. I wanted to be equipped to share what I learned and help make that knowledge more accessible to others.
"Health starts first in the mind, then in the kitchen."
